Hi there. Ford owners today in your 2013 Ford focus we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install to conscious T1 vehicle wiring harness with a four-pole flat trailer connector. And this is what our four-pole connector will look like when you got it installed. It's normally hidden behind the cover, right here when not in use, but when you're ready to use it, you can poke it right out of the cover, drape it down the back, and it will pinch in-between our weatherstripping, which won't cause any damage to it. It'll hold it in place.Keeping our wiring secure when we need it. We have a four-pole flat trailer connector, which will provide us with all the necessary lighting signals, which includes our left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps, and brake lamps, which will keep us DOT compliant in all States, and will allow people behind us to see the lights on our trailers. more

Connor: Hey guys, Connor here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness here for our 2020 Ford Fusion. So our T1 wiring harness here is going to provide us with the most basic trailer lighting functions. These functions include four pins, we're going to have one for the ground, we're going to have one for the running light circuit, we're going to have one each for our stop and turn signal circuits.We are towing what our Fusion here. We have a trailer, it's definitely probably going to have lights so we're going to be able to activate those signals and remain legal while we're driving down the highway. So as you can see here the way this harness is initially designed is we're going to have the four-pole connector routed out through the trunk here. more

Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2018 Ford F-150- Video
Hey everybody, Ryan here at e-trailer. Today on our 2018 Ford F-150, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CURT T-connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, with the seven-way connector. So you'd want to use the seven-way for a couple of different reasons. One your trailer that you plan on towing this style of connector, or you plan on towing a trailer that has a brake controller. So this is going to give you the capability to do both since it just taps into our factory wiring, more or less just plugs right in that factory wiring is already going to be pre ran and allow this to put out that electric brake signal, as well as that auxiliary power signal. That way you're able to charge up any batteries that you might have on your trailer, while you're towing it down the road, such as a small pop-up camper or maybe a utility trailer that has a dump bed.So this harness is going to eliminate the need to piece together a whole entire kit and run a bunch of wiring like you normally would have to do. more

What I've found about nines times out of ten, these F-150 are going to come equipped with a factory four-way connector. Well that's great unless you need a seven-way. That's where this is going to come into play. It's simply just going to plug right in to the factory wiring, give us that seven-way function, as well as maintaining our factory four-way plug too.What's great about this setup is that we're still going to be able to have our four-way for smaller trailers, as well as our seven-way for larger trailers, campers, anything like that. more

Today, on our 2020 Ford Ranger, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt T connector vehicle wiring harness with the seven way connector.The seven way is not only going to provide our trailer with the basic and necessary lighting functions, but it's also going to give it a couple more, one of them being the auxiliary 12 volt power output, and that's going to charge your batteries that you might have on your trailers as you're going down the road and it's also going to put out an electric brake signal. That way if you have a brake controller, you can apply the trailer brakes and bring you to a safe and predictable stop.And if you are getting this to be able to use a brake controller, the one that I really like is called the Curt Echo. It's going to be completely wireless. Today on our 2019 Ford Transit 250 we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install a Tekonsha OEM replacement vehicle wiring harness with a seven way as well as the brake controller adapter.Since Transit vans are really capable vehicles, many of our customers use them to do a little bit of everything, so whether it's work or play, you're going to have the capability to tow a trailer and transfer the lighting functions from the back of the van to the back of the trailer. That way other motorists know your intentions as you're going down the road.Now the best thing about this is not only is it going to give you a seven way plug with all of your functions, but it's also going to give you the ability to use a brake controller and that's something you don't find too much all in one kit. Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2017 Ford Explorer- Video
Rob: Hey, everybody. Rob here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the CURT T-connector vehicle wiring harness on our 2017 Ford Explorer. Now, our CURT T-connector harness is going to provide us with a four pole flat trailer connector, so we have all the required lights to get down the road safely, like your stop lights, your turn signals, and even your tail lights.I do want to mention, we have ours mounted to our hitch using a four pole bracket. Now, if your hitch doesn't have a spot to mount it, you can still use a four pole bracket. You may just need to pick up a no drill bracket in an addition, but I think it just gives it a cleaner look and really easy to access when we need to. That's going to provide us with a dust cover because our wiring is designed to stay on the outside, so we'll make sure all that dirt, debris and grime stays out of our connectors, and we shouldn't have any kind of issues when it comes to connections. more

Now this vehicle wiring harness is going to allow your trailer lighting to function properly, so not only are you going to remain safe and legal, giving you that peace of mind, other motorists are also going to appreciate the fact that you're responsible enough to have proper lighting to let them know what you plan on doing while you're going down the road.Now this is going to have a power output for your stop and turn signals of 2.1 amps. For your tail lights, it's going to have a power output of 3.75 amps, so that's going to be plenty of power to run all your basic trailer lighting, if not more. This plug in the bed of your truck is going to make life a lot easier because you won't have to drape any of that wiring over your tailgate. Now, one nice thing is that the cap is actually spring loaded, and it's going to have a retaining clip on the back side of it.That way when you plug your 7-way in, the cap is going to put pressure against it, and the retaining clip is going to stop your plug from getting accidentally pulled out. It's also going to have a rubber seal inside. more

Today on our 2013 Ford F250 Super Duty we're going to be taking a look at I'm going to show you how to install inaudible 00:00:01 Gooseneck 90 Degree Wiring Harness.This is what our wiring's going to look like when it's installed. This is going to provide us with a seven way plug when we're towing a fifth wheel or gooseneck.What's nice about this being an in bed setup is when we have our gooseneck or fifth wheel hooked up, our wiring can stay inside the bed instead of having to hang over our tailgate and hook into our factory wiring.This plug, once this is installed, it's going to hook directly inline with your factory wiring. You're not going to do any cutting or splicing.What's nice about the inaudible 00:00:39 wiring is on the front of your plug, it's going to tell you what each wire function is. The cap itself is going to be springloaded. It's going to help keep any dirt and debris from getting inside on the plug connections. It's going to have a rubber seal. more

Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2017 Ford F-150- Video
Today on our 2017 Ford F150, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One vehicle wiring harness with a 7-way trailer connector.Here's what our wiring's going to look like once we have it installed. Now keep in mind that the brackets to mount it up are not going to come with the kit, so you may want to pick up a 7-pull bracket and a long bracket to mount to your hitch. Our wiring is going to give us a 7-way RV style connector so we'll have all of our light functions, our clearance lights, turn signals, brakes and reverse lights, and the option to put in a brake controller later on down the road.The nice thing about our wiring is that it is custom designed for our Ford F150 so we're not going to have to cut or splice any wires. It's just going to simply plug in with a t-connector and if we have the factory 4-way on the back of our truck, we can also keep that, so now we can tow a couple different kinds of trailers.If you're looking to replace your factory 7-way, or add one to the 4-pull you already have, this is going to be a great option so we can continue to tow and be safe going down the road.So now we've taking a look at our wiring and seen the end result, let's show you how to get it installed. To begin installation, we're going to move underneath, and if we follow our 4-way wire and we follow up it will connect to this connector right here. It's going to be a black connector. more

Today on our 2016 Ford Mustang, we're gonna be taking a look at and show you how to install the Tekonsha T1 Vehicle Harness with four-pole flat trailer connector.This is what our wiring is gonna look like when it is installed. This wiring can be installed to where it remains inside the vehicle and pulled out when needed, or outside the vehicle, how we have it here.It's gonna give us all of our proper lighting functions to safely tow a trailer, both turn signals, our running lights and our brake lights. It's gonna have an included dust cap to help cover our connection points. It's gonna help keep any dirt and debris from getting inside. This wiring kit is also going to have a converter box.
